Suzanne Antonaros

Without our language learners we would not be teachers; our thoughtfulness toward these learners and the creation of ways we can keep them engaged in the lifelong process of learning foreign languages are our priorities. In the role of professional language teacher, it is important to enjoy yourself and, with your learners' unique personalities in mind, to intend to engage them in having a good time, too.

A native Californian, Suzanne holds a B.A. degree in Spanish and an M.A. degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from San Francisco State University. She has had extensive experience in materials development and in teaching children, adult and ESP courses in the USA, the UK and in Greece.

Suzanne has worked as EFL materials and syllabus design consultant for Longman International. She has taught classes and has prepared teaching materials for The National Center of Public Administration, the National School of Public Administration and for the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 1984, she co-founded, with Lilika Couri, EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING CONSULTANTS, later renamed EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING CONCEPTS and THE TEACHING THEATER GROUP FOR CHILDREN.
She has been involved in teacher training and foreign language school management consultancies throughout Greece and the Balkans. She has been to Pilgrims Courses for Teachers, Canterbury and to the University of California, Santa Barbara Extension to give seminars to EFL/ ESL teachers. Since 1994, she has been conducting teacher training seminars for the University of Athens Department of English. Since 2015, she has been working as an online language coach for professional adults.
